Welford Engineering Associates, Inc. is headquartered in historic downtown Fredericksburg, VA. WEA was incorporated in June 2000 and was formed out of the vision and dreams of its two partners, Mr. Lawrence R. Welford, PE, a registered professional engineer, and Mr. John K. Sehl, LS, a Licensed Land Surveyor. These two individuals bring to this firm over 50 years of professional experience in the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying business of which 35 years of this experience was gained here in Virginia. Together they are the two working principals who work day to day along with other staff to serve the needs of the firm's rapidly growing client base.
